Geotechnical & Structural Monitoring

Datum have many years experience in designing systems for measuring geotechnical or structural parameters. We offer a complete service to our clients from instrumentation selection, installation, monitoring and the production of reports. If our clients choose to carry out one or more of the above tasks themselves, we then can provide assistance in an advisory capacity.

Automated track monitoring system using Total Stations to monitor railway tracks above tunneling operation

Weather monitoring stations, keeping track of rainfall remotely, with real-time alarms for rainfall over predetermined limits.

Real-time monitoring for rockfall and track deformation on a rural railway line. Alarms are relayed back to the signal box for immediate action.

Supply, installation and operation of geotechnical instrumentation for manual and automatic monitoring of structures and infrastructure
